ANDE SA Metrics Learning Lab

ANDE members are invited to the upcoming South Africa Metrics Learning Lab breakfast, to build the capacity of members working to support SGBs in South Africa to measure their social and environmental performance. Global and local tools, methodologies and challenges will be discussed during these working sessions, with funding available for collaborative projects.

1. Beth Richardson (Founder), B Lab South Africa

Beth Richardson will give participants an overview of B Impact Assessment and B Analytics. B Impact Assessment allows organisations to measure and manage their governance practices and their impact on their workers, community, customers and the environment. With benchmarking against over 50,000 businesses around the world on over 300 indicators, companies can see how they stack up against top performers like Certified B Corporations. Learn more about the growing movement in South Africa.”

2. Peter Blair (Consulting Director), Vera Solutions

Peter Blair will present on the key learnings from their work with nearly 200 social impact organizations, many of whom rely on technology for indicator management. He will provide examples, challenges and anecdotes of how South African organisations can approach impact measurement with the use of technology for data collection, management, and analysis - for both monitoring and evaluation.
