"How do we reach the missing middle and bridge the gap between start up support and full-fledged equity participation?"

The entrepreneurial ecosystem study commissioned by the DGGF will provide new insights on key obstacles, bottlenecks and opportunities faced by Kenyan entrepreneurs in accessing adequate finance for growing their businesses. This forum will provide an opportunity for ANDE and EAVCA members as well as relevant stakeholders to engage and share insights on new emerging SME finance initiatives and elaborate on potential solutions to bridge the gap between start up support and full-fledged equity participation. The DGGF is particularly keen to explore opportunities to support the implementation of innovative solutions to close the gap. Solutions brought forward during the forum to help bridge the gap will be further assessed for funding support from the DGGF.
