For the first time, data that evaluates the ability of social enterprises to meet the basic needs of poor populations is available in a study by Zeppelin University and Siemens Stiftung.

The study focuses on Colombia, Mexico, Kenya, and South Africa. It examines the dynamics in the public, private, and third sectors, as well as to what extent these influence social enterprise activities. The study includes concrete recommendations on how to increase the contribution of social enterprises to poverty alleviation.

The report is available for free here.
