Boosting African Entrepreneurship Across Sectors

Sub-Saharan Africa's youth population will reach nearly 1 billion by 2050, creating an urgent need for employment opportunities. A critical engine of economic growth are small and medium enterprises, accounting for up to 90% of the region's businesses--however, their potential is greatly under-realized.

A range of expert speakers will explore how to grow and scale these businesses, and how the public and private sector can best support African entrepreneurship. Hear directly from two African entrepreneurs on how they launched their businesses, and their recommendations for scaling up this success. Development and corporate experts will highlight the most effective entrepreneurship strategies in their portfolios, and their outlook on future opportunities in this key part of the African economy.
