Aligning Expectations on Impact Measurement

The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) is launching the first Metrics Learning Lab for ANDE East and Southeast Asia region. The Metrics Learning Lab aims to build the capacity for impact measurement, including standardization of metrics, developing evidence-based practices for our field, using impact data to make decisions, and creating a culture of measurement. The learning lab has been organized in Brazil, Central American and Mexico (CAM), East Africa, South Africa, and India. We look forward to having this conversation with ANDE members and interested partners in East & Southeast Asia.

A panel discussion by practitioners in Southeast Asia to share their current tools and approaches in the field of impact measurement, their challenges and how they use their impact measurement result to align expectations among their various stakeholders.

ChangeFusion is a Bangkok-based organization that grows social entrepreneurs for creative and sustainable change. They support and invest into social enterprises. The organization also helps strengthen the ecosystems of social enterprises in Thailand and in Asia. 

Sunit is also a Founder and Managing Director of ChangeVentures - an intermediary organization that aims to drive system change through social innovations by convening partners and resources to design new solutions and invest in existing initiatives that tackle the most critical social and environmental problems.

Mae Fah Luang Foundation's (MFLF) SE indicators is a set of indicators to help the MFLF evaluate operational process of SE and allow the MFLF to use its potential and network to support other SEs. It serves as a set of criteria for SEs to enter the MFLF’s marketing platform since marketing including distribution channel is among the main weaknesses of SEs in Thailand; while, the MFLF has potential and strong base from brand DoiTung.

Impact Bento is a collection of user-friendly impact management tools for impact planning, measurement, reporting and internal improvement, developed in accordance with global standards such as the European Commission and G8 Social Impact Investment Task force.

Grassroots Innovation company, founded in Northeast Thailand, provides technical assistance, financing and market assistance to the local farmers. The company also established Grassroot Innovation Network to provide innovative organic farming solutions for underprivileged rural communities.
