The ANDE SA team and Social Value UK (SVUK) invite all intermediaries to a workshop which aims to train intermediaries supporting social and creative enterprises in South Africa, to up-skill the entrepreneurs they support to have an IMM practice.

The two-day training will address the important issues relating to how social and creative enterprises can measure and manage their social impacts. Working with SVUK and ANDE, those intermediaries attending the course will develop their understanding on best practice approaches on why and how to measure impacts. Additionally, the course will introduce and train intermediaries on the use of a toolkit that will allow enterprises to effectively measure and manage their impacts.

The structure for day 1 is outlined below, with day 2 focusing on applying the ideas and the toolkit for impact management to the social and creative enterprises in South Africa.

Module 1 – Purpose of impact management
1. Examine the purpose of impact management
2. Identify the impact questions needed to account for impact
3. Introduce the critical importance of targets

Module 2 – Planning for impact and goals

2. Learn how to construct an effective Theory of Change

Module 3 - Stakeholders and outcomes
