This Impact Investment workshop, co-hosted by Solidaridad and ANDE SA, will focus on how to effectively set-up and manage impact investment funds and apply innovative financing models in order to achieve true impact. Impact Investments have the intention of generating measurable social or environmental impact alongside a financial return – but is this really being achieved? Are impact investments truly providing financial access for social and environmental businesses? Are appropriate products and structures being used? Are the intended impacts being realized? What are the latest innovative financing models that can be applied? Can agriculture be an attractive sector for impact investment?

This workshop will explore these questions and more through a workshop and case study format. We aim to critically analyze these issues and highlight international and leading best practices on how to effectively manage and achieve impact with Professor Glenn Yago, who will be present to share his expertise on the topic.

When: 28 August 2019
