The ANDE India team and Social Value UK (SVUK) invite you to a training workshop for organisations/intermediaries who want to use the IMPACT MANAGEMENT PROJECT framework to measure and manage their own impact management practice and/or also support other organisations to do so.

The two-day training will address the important issues relating to how social and creative enterprises can measure and manage their social impacts. Working with SVUK and ANDE, those intermediaries attending the course will develop their understanding on best practice approaches on why and how to measure impacts. Additionally, the course will introduce and train intermediaries on the use of a toolkit that will allow enterprises to effectively measure and manage their impacts.

The structure for day 1 is outlined below, with day 2 focusing on applying the ideas and the toolkit for impact management to the social and creative enterprises in India 

Module 1 – Purpose of impact management 
1. Examine the purpose of impact management
2. Identify the impact questions needed to account for impact
3. Introduce the critical importance of targets

Module 2 – Planning for impact and goals 
1. Explore how a Theory of Change can help with an impact management strategy
2. Learn how to construct an effective Theory of Change

Module 3 - Stakeholders and outcomes
1. Examine the importance of involving stakeholders to identify outcomes of activities 
2. Explore the risks and opportunities that qualitative data provides.

Module 4 - Quantifying outcomes
1. Examine the importance of quantifying outcomes – how to measure how much has changed in the lives of people
2. Introduce the ability to effectively value the relative importance of changes to the lives of people
3. Consider the importance of understanding the impact that our activities create – asking how much we have contributed
4. Explore the risks and opportunities that quantitative data provides.
