ANDE SA Impact Management Learning Lab: Revisiting IMM resources and tools for social and creative enterprises sectors

21 May 2020 (14:00 - 15:30 SAST)

Online - Zoom

In April 2019, ANDE SA hosted an in-person event to launch the ANDE SA Impact Management Learning Lab. The Learning lab was the first of a quarterly series to follow, as part of the new “Impact Measurement and Management for the South African social and creative enterprises sectors” project, an ANDE SA partnership with Social Value UK  (SVUK) and supported by the British Council's Developing Inclusive and Creative Economies (DICE) Fund. The ANDE SA team hosted workshops coupled with two trainings in Johannesburg and Cape Town, facilitated by the projects international partner, Dr Adam Richards of SVUK.

This webinar will recap the lessons learned and key takeaways following four Impact Management  Learning Labs targeted at social and creative entrepreneurs and will revisit the updated and latest Toolkit introduced by SVUK as part of the project.

When: 21 May 2020

Time: 14:00 – 15:30 SAST

Where: Online - Zoom:

Dr. Adam Richards, Projects, Research & Training Manager, Social Value UK

Adam joined SVUK in 2016 as Senior Researcher on the European Commission project SPRINT to apply the principles of social value to long-term care for frail older people across 11 European states. Before joining SVUK he lectured at universities for over 10 years and has a PhD from Liverpool John Moores University investigating the legitimising effects of SROI in a social enterprise. Adam has worked with a number of organisations to help them better understand, measure and manage their social impacts. He is also a member of SVUK’s UK Council and acts as a critical friend to the FRC Group, as part of their Social Value Sub-Committee. Currently, as well as working at SVUK, Adam also works with Mantel Gwynedd, the County Voluntary Council for Gwynedd, North Wales, to embed social value into their practices and assist their members.

We hope to see you there!
