Metrics from the Ground Up 2016

June 14, 15, 16
Washington, DC

Join ANDE this June for conversations focused on emerging practices in measurement, practical strategies for adoption, and lessons from your peers who are supporting small and growing businesses in emerging markets.

Our focus this year is "Beyond Silos." We will discuss systemic approaches to measurement, that transcend one organization's work to encompass an entire ecosystem.  We will learn about ways to integrate impact measurement with operational and financial measurement, and how that changes the conversation.  We will highlight methods that prioritize multiple stakeholders and build in rapid feedback loops.

Why attend?

“I feel like I've found a kindred group of highly intelligent, driven individuals who care deeply about
measuring the impact of the work of not only their own organizations but of the sector at-large.

Intimate Conversations. With a max of 100 participants all grappling with questions of impact assessment, conversations are focused, intimate, and fun.

Practical. We move conversations beyond theory to demonstrate real examples of what works (and what doesn’t work).

Transparent and Open. We ask that all participants come prepared not just to learn, but to share their expertise.

What we expect from you. As a participant of Metrics from the Ground Up, we will ask you to send us some information about your organization’s  approach to impact assessment before you arrive in DC.  During the event, we expect all participants (not just those listed in the agenda) to have an active voice in creating useful conversations.  And afterwards, we hope you will continue to connect and learn with the network you develop at the event.

Event Format: ANDE events are typically highly interactive, member-driven, and practically focused. We rely on participants to develop the agenda, lead discussions, and share their expertise.  Sessions at Metrics from the Ground Up fall into four categories: Discussion Panels, Breakout Discussions, Networking Activities, and Workshops.

Please note - For the first time we are offering an early track on Tuesday, June 14th for those new to the sector or to ANDE. This afternoon session is limited to 50 participants, and will provide an introduction to the field.  If you are interested in attending this track, you MUST select it in your registration form.
