Are you a professional looking for a new work experience in the Small and Growing Business (SGB) sector?

ANDE East Africa is hosting an interactive information session to encourage more talented young professionals to enter the SGB sector. A number of micro-talks from professionals already in the sector will be held to reveal the benefits and demystify the SGB work experience.

Come and interact with several amazing professionals in the Small and Growing Business sector on
Wednesday 6th September, 2017 at The iHub.

In East Africa, firms in the SGB sector lack the resources to carry out large recruitment campaigns that would allow them to position themselves as choice employers.

Following the highly-successful 2016 ANDE Career Fair that attracted more than 600 participants, most of whom were final year university students as well as recent graduates and professionals with between 1 and 5 years’ experience, ANDE East Africa is holding the second SGB targeted career fair to encourage more talented young professionals to enter the sector. The fair will enable exchange of information and mutual expectations, which in turn will allow employers to invite job seekers with an appropriate profile to submit their application.

Scheduled to be held on the 8th of September, the career fair will host over 30 exhibiting firms who will set up stands all afternoon to showcase themselves and link with potential recruits. The ANDE Talent Academy will take place in the early part of the day; a cycle of workshops and training courses, carried out by exhibitors, training companies and organizations. The common topics are effective job-seeking techniques, personal development or business problem solving as well as a peek into the SGB sector in the region.
