We partner with women leaders across the globe who use business growth as a means to improve their community and the world. Our current economic development program offerings include : 1.The VV GROW Fellowship, a leading global accelerator for women entrepreneurs. The fellowship is a highly competitive one-year program for women owners of small and medium businesses. The program includes online and in-person customized business skills training, technical assistance, leadership development, and access to networks. Fellows focus on strategy and long-term business value paired with action-oriented plans to grow their businesses and leadership. 2. The Global Ambassadors Program (GAP) connects extraordinary women leaders to a unique mentorship opportunity, including one-on-one mentoring sessions and strategic workshops focused on building organizational management, financial acumen and leadership skills. 2 to 3 GAP trips per year bring together 8-12 mentor/mentee pairs for a week of intensive capacity building and mentorship. Mentees are entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs managing revenues of between US$250k and $10 million. 3. The Fortune - U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership is a public-private partnership between Fortune Most Powerful Women, the U.S. Department of State, and Vital Voices Global Partnership. The program draws on the expertise of America’s most accomplished leaders to enhance the business and leadership skills of international women professionals. Over the course of the month-long program, mentees engage in skills trainings, panel discussions, networking events, and a two-week mentorship with top female executives - Fortune's Most Powerful Women - and their teams. 4. The WE Empower UN SDG Challenge is the first of its kind global business competition for women entrepreneurs who are advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and inspiring entire communities to act to create the world we want by 2030. The WE Empower Challenge honors five women entrepreneurs, one from each of the five UN regions, who are advancing the SDGs through their business practices. The opportunity recognizes their innovative work, provides capacity-building training sessions and high-level advocacy opportunities to the awardees and ignites awareness about the valuable contribution women entrepreneurs can make toward the SDGs.
