ANDE Global Staff

Joshua Adedeji, Program Manager, West Africa

Joshua joined the West Africa Chapter of ANDE in September 2016 and he is based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has experience working in Africa’s nonprofit and social development sector. Joshua is passionate about international development, and maintains an interest in social entrepreneurship and sustainability. Prior to joining ANDE, Joshua worked as the youth representative of the Mara Foundation, based in Lagos, Nigeria, and as an advocacy lead of CSR-in-Action. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Ilorin and has a Masters of Public and International Affairs (MPIA) from the University of Lagos.  




Olatunji Ajani, Regional Chapter Manager, West Africa

Olatunji joined ANDE as our West Africa Regional Chapter Coordinator, based in Lagos, Nigeria, in February 2016. His past work spans across business development, management consulting and social development. Prior to joining ANDE, he was a Lead Consultant with Green Insight Solutions and a Business Development Manager for E-Green Services. He also co-founded an online resource portal that helps micro businesses connect with funding opportunities, resources and tools to grow their businesses. He has a BSc from University of Ibadan and is a StartingBloc Fellow. 




Natalie Alm, Communications Manager

Natalie Alm joined ANDE as Communications Manager in 2019 with a background in communications and partnership building in the government and non-profit sectors. Prior to ANDE, Natalie served as Program Officer for the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Andes-Amazon-Orinoco regional program in Lima, Peru and led communications for the U.S. Department of State’s Secretary's Office of Global Partnerships, representing partnerships in entrepreneurship, diaspora engagement, girls’ education, and more. Natalie also spent time in Latin America working for a small community development foundation in Ecuador and teaching English on a Fulbright grant to Argentina. Natalie holds a BA in International Studies, Spanish, and English from Washington University in St. Louis and a dual Masters in Public Administration and International Relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.

Vivian Arnez, Talent Associate

Vivian joined ANDE in April of 2020 as a Talent Associate. Before joining ANDE, Vivian managed talent, operations, and corporate social responsibility for a government consulting firm and worked as a Human Resources Associate for the Council on Foundations. Vivian holds an M.S. in Management, a B.A. in Global Affairs with a concentration in Latin America, and a Tourism and Events Minor from George Mason University.




Flora Bracco, Senior Partnerships Associate 

Flora has been creating and strengthening cross-sector partnerships for Sustainability through Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation in emerging markets since 2014. Prior to joining ANDE as Senior Partnerships Associate in 2019, Flora worked with corporate social responsibility in Latin America and Africa at AMGlobal Consulting in Washington, D.C. and as partnerships coordinator at Artemisia, a leading social impact business accelerator in Brazil, her home country. Flora holds a B.A. in International Studies with a focus on International Development and a Chinese Language Minor from American University's School of International Service and a specialization degree in Sustainability Management at FIA/ FEA - USP.



Devin Chesney, Director of Strategic Development

Devin joins ANDE after a multifaceted career in the social sector including roles in fundraising, consulting and as a social entrepreneur. He has a Masters in International Relations from the University of Chicago with an emphasis on global poverty issues. He previously worked for World Food Program USA as Manager of Development and Financial Operations, ran a consulting practice serving a variety of nonprofit organizations, and founded FairWear, a social enterprise business doing large scale ethical clothing manufacturing in Bangladesh.Devin comes with a deep background in developing IT systems to support fundraising and communications efforts in addition to the direct work of implementing fundraising proposals and campaigns. 




Sekai ChiwandamiraRegional Chapter Manager, South Africa

Sekai joined ANDE in February 2020. She has immense experience as a Mining Lawyer, Development Specialist and Business Development Manager in both the public and private sectors. In particular, she has provided technical assistance to development finance institutions, small and growing businesses, multinational companies, investors, governments and non-governmental organisations across Sub-Sahara Africa and assisted with developing and implementing capacity building initiatives. For over a decade, she has worked across the impact investing continuum. Among her many accomplishments, she has practised as an Attorney at one of the leading international law firms (Hogan Lovells), managed the transformation and mineral rights portfolio of one of the world’s largest diversified natural resource companies (Glencore). In addition, she has been a senior project manager and business development manager for the impact advisory business for a pan-African private sector development group (AMSCO). Prior to joining ANDE, she managed the Business Development portfolio in South Africafor the world’s largest law firm (Dentons). She holds a Bachelor Laws (LLB) and Masters of Extractive Laws in Africa from the University of Pretoria.


Abigayle Davidson, Research Manager

Abby joined ANDE in January 2016 and supports the research initiative, with a special focus on the role of accelerators in emerging markets. She served two years with ForgottenSong, a non-profit organization that supports small business as a means of community development in war-torn countries and also co-founded Markham & Fitz, a bean-to-bar chocolate company based in Arkansas. She holds a Bachelor’s in International Business and Economics and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Arkansas.   




James Euless Derousselle, Information Systems Manager

James Euless Derousselle is the Information Systems Manager for the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) with the Aspen Institute. Previously James served as the Senior Operations Manager at The Black Mental Health Alliance for Education & Consultation, Inc. Serving as a member of the senior executive team where he lead the organization in operational capacity building, developed process and infrastructure and aided BMHA in advancing the mission and vision through technology research. Additionally, supporting grants management, program evaluation, and project management. James has created innovative communications and branding plans for nonprofit and small businesses, streamlined processes for large organizations and managed technology implementations among other operations, leadership, and capacity building actives. James is a proven nonprofit leader helping organizations of various size, scale, and scope. James holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas Southern University in Houston, TX and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism from the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN.


Mónica Ducoing, Regional Chapter Manager, Central America and Mexico

Mónica has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and CSR from Escuela de Organización Industrial in Madrid, Spain, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. She has prior experience in the social sector working for an NGO that provides capacity building and jobs for underprivileged people. Previously, she worked as an Operations Manager for the Impact Hub, where she gained extensive knowledge of the social impact ecosystem in Mexico.





Susannah Eastham, Director of Membership and Programs

Susannah joined ANDE with six years of experience in program management and community engagement in domestic and international start-ups and foundations committed to social good. Susannah’s socially focused career includes connecting a Rwandan village with the social enterprise Indego Africa, and leading ThinkImpact’s Scholars in rural South Africa, using Human Centered Design to partner with local social entrepreneurs and develop successful enterprises. She also lived in Liberia mapping the social enterprise and impact investing landscape. Most recently, she managed a program on public private partnerships in Brazil for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office for International and Philanthropic Innovation. Finally, she engaged the community through alumni and volunteer programs for the nonprofit College Summit to increase low-income high school students’ college enrollments. Susannah earned a BA from the University of Virginia, and a MBA focused on Global Development and Social Entrepreneurship from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

 Jenny Everett, Interim Executive Director

Jenny has close to twenty years of experience in the private and non-profit sectors. Prior to ANDE, she was the Senior Program Manager, Membership and Individual Donors at Hispanics in Philanthropy. She has also worked with DoubleClick in San Francisco and the Concha y Toro winery in Santiago, Chile. During business school, she worked with Agora Partnerships in Nicaragua, Enterprise Solutions for Poverty in New York, and Investors’ Circle in San Francisco. She currently serves on the Boards of the DC Social Innovation Project and First Access, and is a former Pipeline Fellow. She has an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Latin American Studies from Davidson College. 


Carlson Giddings, Membership and Programs Associate

Carlson Giddings joined ANDE in July 2017 as the Program and Membership Coordinator. Carlson “Carly” recently graduated from George Washington University with a BA in International Affairs, a concentration in International Development, and a minor in Sustainability.  In the last year, she conducted and published an extensive case study, titled, "Traditional Fresh Markets and the Supermarket Revolution: A Case Study on Châu Long Market," in Hanoi, Vietnam and presented her findings at the University of Notre Dame's 9th Annual Human Development Conference. Additionally, she worked as a Research Assistant for a National Science Foundation and George Washington University grant project, called Arctic PIRE, which promotes Arctic Urban Sustainability. Through this position, she traveled and conducted field studies in the North American and Russian Arctic regions before starting at ANDE.


Matt Guttentag, Director of Research and Impact 

Matt is ANDE’s Director of Research & Impact. Matt joined ANDE from LINC, where he served as a Program Director, leading action research programs to improve financial sustainability for civil society around the world. Prior to his time at LINC, Matt was the Partnership Advisor for the U.S. Global Development Lab (USAID) where he managed the Partnering to Accelerate Entrepreneurship (PACE) program, working directly with over 30 for- and non-profit partners to build and manage 12 public private partnerships connecting early-stage enterprises to over $100 million of private seed investment capital. Matt also led the development of the partnership to support the Global Accelerator Learning Initiative (GALI), working with the Lemelson Foundation, Omidyar Network, and Argidius Foundation to seed phase one of ANDE’s program.

Evelyn Hernandez, Senior Program Coordinator, Central America and Mexico

Evelyn joined ANDE as the CAM Program Coordinator in May 2018. She has more than 10 years of experience working in both the for-profit and nonprofit sector. She worked at an NGO as a communications and partnership development coordinator and then moved to an award-winning social enterprise in Guatemala and Latin America. There she worked as a sales and marketing coordinator. She received the Walton International Scholarship to attend the University of the Ozarks, where she graduated with a B.S. in Management and Marketing.




Norka Hilario, Director of Finance

Norka joined ANDE in June 2016 to serve as the Finance Manager. She is a Financial Management Specialist with more than 10 years of experience managing International development programs. Before joining ANDE she was a Senior Finance and Contract Analyst at Abt Associates, where she managed financial and contractual operations for a variety of donor funded programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In this role she was responsible for overall program financial management to include budgeting, cost analysis, profit calculation, invoice and revenue reconciliations, as well as subcontract management and negotiations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the George Washington University.



Amy Hirst, Senior Manager of Chapter Operations

Amy joined ANDE as a Manager, Operations and Talent in April 2019. Before ANDE, Amy managed programs, staff, and logistics and operations for five years at Lawyers Without Borders, doing international development and capacity building work in the rule of law arena and serving as the volunteer coordinator and key administrator for the D.C. office for four years. Amy has a J.D. from the University of Iowa and a B.A. from Vassar College. 





Victoria Hume, Research Analyst

Victoria joined ANDE as a Research Assistant in July 2018 and supports the Research & Impact Team’s initiatives. Victoria (Vicky) recently attained a Master of Business Administration in Sustainable Business Practices degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, following a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland. Prior to joining ANDE, she worked for a sustainability consulting firm in Falls Church, VA supporting client services through data analytics and visualizations, and content creation for the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Initiative website redesign. Vicky is passionate about global sustainable development and continues to pursue her education in this sector in various ways.



José Ibáñez, Program Coordinator, Central America and México

José joined ANDE as a CAM Program Coordinator in April 2020. He is a development professional with 8 years of experience specializing in community and organizational development. His experience integrates expertise in program development and implementation, organizational partnerships, networking, teaching, research and communication. Among his accomplishments is the design and operation of an international foundation´s capacity building initiative, including a leadership program for Boards and Executives in the U.S.-Mexico border, as well as the design of a corporate university for a nation-wide company. He is currently obtaining a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management by the Rioja International University in Spain, holding a BSc in Psychology from La Salle University in Mexico and a Public Policy Design certificate from Austral University in Argentina. 


Confidence Ibomeze, Operations Coordinator, West Africa

Confidence joined ANDE in May 2018 as the West Africa Fellow/Intern based in Lagos, Nigeria. She brings on board database management, content development and administration experience. She is highly interested in human capital development, people management and social entrepreneurship. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Landmark University and a Master of Science degree in Employment Relations and Human Resource Management from the University of Lagos.





Sucharita Kamath, Regional Chapter Manager, India

Sucharita joined  ANDE in September 2017 as the India Chapter Manager. She brings with her more than two decades of experience spanning the social enterprise, IT, non- profit, and consulting industries including various senior management roles in consulting, program & project management, social enterprise management, training, and facilitation.  A people person through and through, she has a passion for doing her bit to make the world a better place and sees social entrepreneurship as a means to this end. Sucharita has a Masters in Business Administration from the SAID Business School, Oxford and a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology.




Edna Karanja, Senior Program Coordinator, East Africa

Edna Karanja joined ANDE in May 2017 as an East Africa Program Coordinator. Previously, she worked as a finance project officer with the Supporting Access to Justice for Children and Youth in East Africa Project (SAJCEA) funded by the Canadian Bar Association, where she gained extensive experience working with children in conflict with the law and those in need of care and protection. She brings her experience in project management, proposal writing, grants management and network building to the team. She has a Master of Arts in Project Planning & Management and a Bachelor of Art, Sociology & Psychology from the University of Nairobi.


Koome KaraniOperations Coordinator, East Africa

Koome Karani is ANDE's East Africa Operations Coordinator. He joins ANDE from Vivo Energy, where he served as a Loyalty Program Operations Support for the Shell Loyalty Program, a first of its kind in the industry. He brings with him experience in project operations, marketing and communications. Koome holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce. He is also a budding entrepreneur. 



Catherine Kent, Senior Grants Management Associate

Catherine Kent joined ANDE in October 2018. She joins us from National 4-H Council where she worked as a Resource Development Coordinator, overseeing the National Mentoring Program funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention that provides mentorship to at-risk youth populations in the US.  Catherine has a strong background in government grant administration, grant compliance, and subaward management. She is committed to using her skillsets to provide resources to communities and populations that need it most. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from American University.



Khatuchi Khasandi, Program Manager, East Africa

Khatuchi Khasandi joined ANDE in May 2016 as an East Africa Chapter Program Coordinator. Previously, she worked as a Program Officer in charge of the development department with the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) Kenya. Prior to that, she was a Program Officer at Sustainable Development For All Kenya, and a Program Associate with Village Enterprise in Uganda and Kenya. She brings her experience in program design and management, impact measurement, and operations and partnership management to the team. Khatuchi is passionate about development and sees social entrepreneurship as the means to sustainably address the development issues in the region.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology & Sociology) and a Minor in Literature from Kenyatta University in Kenya and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the same university. 


Antony Maina, Regional Communications Associate

Antony joined ANDE in May 2017 as a senior program coordinator for the East Africa chapter. He previously worked as a regional communications and advocacy officer for the Parenting in Africa Network. Prior to that he was a communications officer for The African Institute for Children Studies. Antony has a long-standing interest in helping the world’s most vulnerable populations and strongly believes that entrepreneurial endeavors can help move people out of poverty. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Moi University. 




Rodrigo Morales, Senior Program Coordinator, Central America and Mexico

Rodrigo is a Sustainable Development professional with 10 years of experience, specialized in social/economic inclusion and education projects, holding a MSc in Sustainable Development by the University College London and a Corporate Social Responsibility certificate by Tecnológico de Monterrey. His experience with nonprofits, corporations and social enterprises assembles, among others, expertise in program development and implementation, partnerships, stakeholder management, volunteering and communication. Among his most important experiences; the design and operation of financial institution´s social strategy, including a mentoring and a financial literacy program with an information communication technology for education component and the implementation of a partnerships and business development strategy of a Mercy Corps´ innovation program globally.


Kingsley Mphahlele, Senior Program Coordinator, South Africa 


Kingsley joined ANDE in August 2016 as the South Africa Intern. His fascination with entrepreneurship led him to pursue a Diploma in Entrepreneurship and later attained a BCom Honours Strategic Management degree from the University of Johannesburg. As a student, he ran a small transport business and conducted a minor research paper on the apathy among South African youth towards entrepreneurship. He has experience in Public Relations as a Media Analyst from QuickPic, a leading PR firm in the South African Motor industry. He also has Marketing experience as a Senior Promoter for Offlimit Communications, an award-winning BTL/Experiential agency in South Africa.







Tendai Mugabe, Senior Program Associate, South Africa


Tendai joined ANDE in April 2020. Tendai has over 10 years Project Management experience in the non-governmental sector where she has worked with the upliftment of orphaned and vulnerable children in Rural South Africa. She is passionate about the advancement of women in business, through partnering them with strategic partners to help grow their business as she herself ran a successful kids hair salon in 2016.  Having returned to the non-governmental sector Tendai helped develop an innovative 7-year programme that focuses on the upliftment of vulnerable girls across South Africa called “PowerGirls”.  Tendai is also an admitted attorney having obtained her LLB in 2003 from Rhodes and has an LLM (Company Law) from Witwatersrand University which she obtained in 2008.  




Lisa Mwende, Africa Finance Coordinator 


Lisa joins ANDE from Practical Action, where she served as an Administration and Finance Assistant to the regional projects team. Prior to that she worked in the Finance Department at the Nakuru County Government in Kenya. She brings on board budget management, project implementation and administration experience.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Project Management.







Maryanne Ochola, Regional Chapter Manager, East Africa

Maryanne is an impact investment professional working with early stage social enterprises in seven African countries in the agriculture, renewable energy, micro-finance and technology sectors. By applying the practical skills honed from nine years of commercial banking experience in Kenya, she supports entrepreneurs with high social and environmental impact refine their business models and attract investment. Alongside impact investment, she is applying her private sector experience to support nonprofit organizations adopt market oriented approaches in addressing poverty across Africa. She is also a trained financial journalist passionate about fueling economic growth in Africa through data driven journalism.




Malacci Ohrt, Membership and Programs Manager 


Malacci joined ANDE in July 2020 as a Membership and Programs Manager. Prior to ANDE, she worked for the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion as a Senior Program Associate. In her role at Accion, Malacci oversaw financial consumer protection efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa which aimed to improve the ecosystem for client protection. She brings experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and communications. Malacci is passionate about using her skill sets to foster economic growth in emerging markets like in her home country of Ghana. Malacci holds a master's degree in human rights, development, and social justice from the International Institute at Erasmus University and a bachelor's degree in business and society from York University. She is fluent in French. 




Oladipo Oloyede, Finance Associate

Oladipo Joined ANDE in June 2019 as a Finance Associate and is responsible for leading all aspects of ANDE’s regional chapters financial management. Prior to joining ANDE, he worked in various roles in the private sector with a focus on financial and performance management. He has a Master’s in International Public Policy with a Specialization in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University SAIS in Washington, D.C. and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Politics from Keele University in the UK. Oladipo is passionate about growing private sector investments in developing countries in order to spur sustainable economic development.



Ploy Phongphansathaporn, Program Coordinator, East and Southeast Asia

Ploy joined ANDE as a Chapter Intern in September 2019 and now serves as Program Coordinator for ESEA. Before joining ANDE, Ploy recently graduated from the University of East Anglia with a BSc in Environmental Geography and International Development. She has field experience through her dissertation evaluating community-based water irrigation projects in the Muang-Chang sub-district. Ploy is passionate about social entrepreneurship and sustainability and has a mission to promote and integrate entrepreneurship and change-making skills into Thailand's educational system.



Nonceba QabaziProgram Associate, South Africa 


Nonceba joined the ANDE South Africa Chapter in June 2019. She gained some experience in the South African banking industry, at the Banking Association of South Africa. Within the same period, she assisted in the establishment of the Centre of Excellence in Financial Services focusing on research in the SADC region. She completed an undergraduate BCom degree, majoring in Law and Economics. This sparked her interest in the development of emerging market economies and her potential role in the economic development of South Africa. She holds an MCom in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand, where she completed research on the on the Determinants of Household Savings in South Africa. Her studies focused on Development Economics and Econometrics. 



Lina Rossi, Regional Chapter Manager, Andean Region

Lina Rossi comes to ANDE with over 9 years of experience in the small and growing business sector. Among her many accomplishments, she most recently served as Founding Partner of Grupo Impacta S.A.S., a Bogota-based consulting practice for small and growing business. She has also served as an independent consultant for various institutions, namely Fundación Bavaria, the philanthropic arm of Bavaria S.A., the largest beverage company in Colombia, and Corporación Excelencia en la Justica, an NGO focused on justice issues, and has professional work experience in both Bogota and Mexico City. Lina holds a Bachelor of Laws from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Lina will be based in Bogota, Colombia, where she will work out of the offices of our partner Socialab.


Juliana Rubio, Senior Program Coordinator, Andean Region

Juliana joined ANDE in November of 2018 as Senior Program Coordinator for the Andean region. She has over eight years of professional experience working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international governmental organizations (IGOs), and the private sector in the United States and several countries in Latin America. Before joining ANDE she worked with Fundación Capital in Colombia, did consulting for several organization in the United States and Colombia, and worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for four years. Juliana has a B.A. in Government and Politics from The University of Maryland, and an M.A. in International Development from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.



Saipriya Salla, Senior Program Coordinator, India

Saipriya joins ANDE having recently finished her Master's in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. She is passionate about working towards an inclusive society for every individual to thrive in, leveraging cross-sector collaboration. Having worked in the development sector for over four years, Saipriya is intrigued about the possibilities that private sector capital holds for unlocking scalable solutions to challenges in the developing world. She previously worked as a Government Relations Associate with Teach for India, a non-profit organisation part of the Teach for All network, aiming to make excellent education accessible to children of all backgrounds. Her interest areas include education, gender, social policy and inclusive urban planning.



Anna Santiago, Membership and Events Coordinator

Anna joined ANDE in April 2019 as the Membership and Events Coordinator. Prior to ANDE, Anna worked at the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law as a Program Assistant, primarily supporting sub-grants in Latin America and Africa. Anna holds a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies and Spanish from Colgate University. While attending Colgate, Anna studied abroad in Cuba and interned through the State Department’s U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program for two years.




Chinnakit Silakong (Bank), Program Associate, East and Southeast Asia

Chinnakit is a well-rounded business development professional with a background as a consultant and international business development in multinational technology implementation firm and retail-led conglomerate covering CLMV geography. His most recent role was commercial team lead for a seed-funded fintech that aims to promote information-based lending in  Thailand. With such, Chinnakit brings private sector perspective and commercial expertise to the role at Aspen Network for Development Entrepreneurs. With an enthusiasm in the built-environment and social enterprise, Chinnakit is looking to be a part of a stronger sustainability ecosystem in the region. He has a master’s degree in International Real Estate and Planning from University College London.



Mallory St. Claire, Impact Analyst

Mallory joined ANDE’s Research and Impact Team in December 2019 shortly after graduating with her Master's in Development Practice degree from Emory University. She has a wide breadth of work experience in international development and impact measurement, including working in India, Kenya, and Bangladesh to design and implement monitoring and evaluation projects. Mallory worked with ANDE members ACDI/VOCA and Habitat for Humanity International prior to joining, specifically conducting qualitative research and building metrics databases. Mallory also holds a B.S. degree in international business and economic consulting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University - Bloomington.  



Pasiwat Sutthirak (Pop), Program Associate, East and Southeast Asia

Pasiwat has recently joined ANDE as a Program Associate. Prior to joining ANDE, Pasiwat worked with UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub, where he played a key role in providing programmatic support to the UNDP SDG Innovative Finance unit. Prior to his time at UNDP, Pasiwat worked with the British Council ( Thailand), where he managed and promoted the development of Social Enterprise program in  Thailand , one of the original pioneering countries for the British Council’s social enterprise work in East Asia , and achieved results in building strategic partnerships between the UK and  Thailand in the areas of policy and government engagement; capacity building for social entrepreneurs, and social enterprise in higher education. In addition, he played a critical role in leading the mainstreaming of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policy in the British Council’s projects and processes in  ThailandPasiwat holds an M.A. in Public Administration and Public Affairs and a B.A. in International Affairs from Thammasat University,  Thailand.



Richenda Van LeeuwenExecutive Director

Richenda recently joined the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) as Executive Director after serving as Managing Director for Empowering Clean Economies at the Rocky Mountain Institute, and previously as Chair, International Institutions at the Global LPG Partnership where she worked on climate and clean energy solutions in developing economies. She was also a member of the World Bank's Energy Program's (ESMAP) Technical Advisory Group from 2016-2019. From 2010-2016 she was Executive Director of Energy Access at the United Nations Foundation, working on the UN Sustainable Energy for All Initiative, and leading a 2,300member global off-grid renewable energy practitioner network. She previously served for nearly five years as CEO of Trickle Up, a global microenterprise development organization. Richenda has previously worked in private equity and impact investing in emerging markets as well as in post-conflict settings. She is a board director of SELCO India and Energy 4 Impact, and an Emeritus founding U.S. Women's "Clean Energy Ambassador" within the U.S. DOE Clean Energy, Education and Empowerment (C3E) initiative.



Fai Wechayachai, Regional Chapter Manager, East and Southeast Asia

Omkaew “Fai” Wechayachai joined ANDE in 2017 as the East and Southeast Asia Chapter Manager. Fai holds a Masters in Comparative International Development Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto. She brings both private and public sector in education industry expertise. She most recently served as the Deputy Managing Director of a Thai educational institution that established the Canadian International School of Thailand, an institution she helped build from the ground up. Prior to her role with the Canadian International School, Fai was part of the management team of KidZania Bangkok where she led the creation of a 15-person sales team, managed relationships with international partners while identifying and cultivating leading industry brands and corporates in the market. Fai had international development experience working with Caritas Sweden, UNICEF Canada and helped fundraise for a local NGO in northern Thailand working with minority and sexually-harassed children.



Rebeca Yoshisato, Program Analyst, Brazil

Rebeca joined ANDE in April 2019. She has a multi-task profile and an experience in events planning, social impact and tourism - her degree course. In 2012 she become an Ambassador at CHOICE Movement (runned by Artemisia at the time) and since them, she has been participating in many different initiatives inside the social impact field. Rebeca has worked in São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau, Brazilian Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism Trade Association, Endeavor Brazil and USP Agency of Innovation, acting in events coordination and relationship with clients and members.




Cecilia Zanotti, Regional Chapter Manager, Brazil

Cecilia has joined ANDE in February 2020. She has a degree in business administration from EAESP FGV and has been working with management of social impact organizations and projects for 20 years. She was the manager of social mobilization of Seja Digital, an entity created to operationalize the change of analogue TV signal in Brazil from 2016 to 2019. Ashoka Fellow, she founded and directed the Bagagem Project for 9 years, an organization focused on community-based tourism. She is an accredited facilitator by Partners for Youth Empowerment and has founded a company that offers training for the empowerment of educators and young people through the arts and creativity. She was a member of AIESEC, lived for a year in Costa Rica and was an exchange student at the University of Texas in Austin. Among her recent interests is the fight for gender and race equity in Brazil through entrepreneurship.
