ANDE COVID-19 Response and Resources

ANDE’S RESPONSE

ANDE has joined more than 40 leading global organizations in the COVID Response Alliance for Social Entrepreneurs, which has already mobilized over US $75 million. Alliance members currently support more than 15,000 social entrepreneurs helping 1.5 billion people cumulatively in over 190 countries, working to serve the needs of excluded, marginalized and vulnerable groups – many of whom have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. The alliance also aims to coordinate between member organizations and amplify the support for social entrepreneurs under extreme stress by the pandemic.

ANDE has joined the new Response, Recovery, and Resilience Investment Coalition (R3 Coalition) alongside other prominent impact investing networks. The R3 Coalition, coordinated by the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), aims to mobilize and coordinate impact investors to quickly fill financing gaps in efforts to address the devastating coronavirus crisis. As an immediate response, the initiative aims to surface and showcase investment opportunities—particularly related to health interventions and access to capital—to investors seeking new COVID-related investments. The objective is to direct capital efficiently toward high-impact solutions. Read the coalition's first issue brief on the impact investing market in the context of COVID-19.

ANDE's sector support activities in response to COVID-19 are part of the Aspen Partnership for an Inclusive Economy, with generous support from the initiative’s founding partner Mastercard.
